Not only will the top two teams in the Barclays Premier League be meeting at the Etihad Stadium when Manchester City host Leicester City but something will have to give as the team with the strongest record at home this season face the one with the best form on the road.
Man City have won 28 points from their 12 matches (W9 D1 L2) at the Etihad Stadium in 2015/16, four more than the next largest total, the 24 of Leicester. Of their last 19 matches at the Etihad, Man City have won 16 in total.
The Foxes, meanwhile, have claimed 25 points on their travels (W7 D4 L1), two more than Tottenham Hotspur, losing only one of their past 15 going back to last season.
Leading the attacks for the sides will be two in-form forwards in Jamie Vardy and Sergio Aguero.
Vardy is the league's leading scorer with 18 goals and eight of those have been the first of the match, the most for a player in the competition this season. But Leicester have not managed a goal against Saturday's opponents for three league matches.
guero has 13 but all but one of those have come in the striker's last 10 matches for Man City.
Leicester's defence struggled in the opening quarter of the season but have conceded once in their past six league matches. However, they travel to a stadium where the home club have been prevented from scoring only once in their last 27 matches in all competitions, by Everton in the BPL last month.
The match also features two managers with contrasting use of their squads. Manuel Pellegrini has made a joint-league high 62 changes to his starting XI in City's 24 Barclays Premier League matches combined this season. But Claudio Ranieri has made only 21 changes for Leicester this season, the fewest of the clubs.
