Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben starting to find rhythm after injury

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has said he is starting to find his rhythm again after returning to the squad following injury problems.

Robben, 32, returned during the winter training camp after two injuries in the first half of the season limited him to just seven Bundesliga matches, in which he scored three goals.

Since coming off the bench in the 2-1 win at Hamburg in late January, the Netherlands international has played in every competitive games for Bayern and has been in good form, particularly in the 3-0 cup defeat of Bochum.

"I am finding my rhythm now, I feel that," he told kicker. "I was good at Bochum last Wednesday, and it was good [in the 3-1 win] at Augsburg. I was satisfied with how I played.

"The partnership with Thomas Muller and Philipp Lahm on our right side already feels familiar again.

"I could have scored a goal towards the end. But you need to save those goals for the important moments. There will be quite a few of them."

Again Bochum, Robben made headlines after being accused of diving in the box close to half-time when he won a penalty in an incident that saw Jan Simunek sent off.

The incident overshadowed his comeback, and he was whistled by home fans at Augsburg on Sunday whenever he was on the ball.

"I don't want to comment on it," Robben said. "I only focus on football and do my job. I want to be important for the team, and nothing else."

Bayern Munich host Darmstadt 98 on Saturday before taking on Juventus in Turin in the Champions League next week.
