Borussia Dortmund will look to end their Portuguese hoodoo when they travel to the Estadio do Dragao for the second leg of their Europa League Round of 32 clash on Thursday evening (kick-off: 21:05CET/20:05GMT).
Thomas Tuchel's side have never won on Portuguese soil, losing each of their last three visits. However, after winning 2-0 in last Thursday's first leg, the coach is in confident mood. "We've changed a few of our basics," explained the former 1. FSV Mainz 05 boss. "As a result, we're not letting teams have many chances. However, I expect to see an improved Porto."
Dortmund welcome back Ilkay Gündogan after the midfielder missed the reverse fixture with a virus. He is expected to slot into the midfield alongside Nuri Sahin - who made his first start of the season in the first leg - though Sven Bender, despite having this week signed a contract extension until 2021, could make way.
