Carlos Bacca and M'Baye Niang fail to lead Milan attack in Napoli draw

A trip to the Stadium San Paolo awaited AC Milan on Monday night, with Napoli looking to bounce back after consecutive losses in all competitions. It showed in a game in which the hosts dominated in terms of possession, as Maurizio Sarri's side constantly forced the Rossoneri onto the back foot.

It appeared as though Milan's recent good form, which had seen them go nine games unbeaten in all competitions, was under threat as Lorenzo Insigne gave the home side the lead.

However, Giacomo Bonaventura produced the perfect response shortly before the half-time interval as Sinisa Mihajlovic's men hung on for a share of the spoils with the Serbian having his defence to thank for a hard-fought point.

The Rossoneri were generally poor on the ball in Naples, which in turn made their assignment much more difficult. Nevertheless, they came up against a side aiming for the Scudetto and will be pleased to return home with a point.
